As part of the Youth Volunteer Project 2025, supported by the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, students and faculty from Assumption University of Thailand (AU) embarked on a powerful, purpose-driven visit to the Camillian Home for Children Living with Disabilities on June 20, 2025.
Camillian Home—operated by the St. Camillus Foundation of Thailand—is a registered charitable organization devoted to rehabilitating children with disabilities, regardless of the severity of their conditions. With a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, teachers, and full-time caregivers, the home provides specialized care in a nurturing environment that inspires each child to reach their full potential.

The AU visit marked the start of a hands-on initiative where students will co-design inclusive, market-based solutions alongside the children, guided by the 4 Ps of Marketing—Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. This isn’t just a class project—it’s a living lesson in empathy, creativity, and sustainable impact.
The project also advances several key UN Sustainable Development Goals, including No Poverty (SDG 1), Quality Education (SDG 4), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10).
“We came to serve, but also to listen and learn,” shared one AU student. “This experience changes how we see our role—not just as students, but as citizens who can make a difference.”
This collaboration reflects AU’s commitment to experiential learning, youth leadership, and social entrepreneurship. And for many of the students, it was more than a field trip—it was a wake-up call to the power of compassion and the joy of shared humanity.
Stay tuned as this transformative project continues to unfold, bringing learning to life—and to heart.
