DDI Open House 2026 Showcased Innovation, Talent, and Startup Spirit

The Bachelor of Business Administration in Design and Digital Innovation program at Assumption University of Thailand (AU)  successfully held DDI Open House 2026 on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Club Siam Glowfish in Siam Pathumwan House, welcoming prospective students, families, and guests for an energetic afternoon focused on creativity, entrepreneurship, and the future of business education. The event ran from 12:00 to 17:00 and introduced participants to a program built around real business learning, hands-on action, and digital innovation.

Hosted under the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME Business School), the event opened with registration before guests were welcomed into a program that highlighted the vision of modern business administration. Dr. Soonthorn Pibulcharoensit,  The University Registrar, delivered remarks on learning from real business and practicing through real action. This was followed by faculty and program information presented by Dr. Chainarong Rungruengarporn, Dean of MSME and Dr. Natamon Phumpradab, Chairperson of the Department of Design and Digital Innovation.

One of the day’s major highlights was the panel discussion, “Building Thai Startups: From Idea to Impact” which brought valuable insights into the realities of entrepreneurship and innovation. Featured speaker Mr. Worapoj CHOSEN, Founder and CEO of CHOSEN Digital, shared perspectives as a startup leader recognized at the Thailand, ASEAN, and global levels. The session also included distinguished guest speakers who discussed startup journeys, funding, business scaling, and the role of universities in shaping the next generation of entrepreneurs.

The event continued with a showcase of innovative startup projects by DDI students. Guests explored live investor pitch presentations and visited the DDI Sandbox exhibition booths, where they had the opportunity to engage with student creators and connect with successful DDI alumni who had launched their own startups and secured funding. This part of the program gave prospective students a vivid picture of how classroom ideas could be developed into real ventures.

The final session of the day focused on program applications and interviews with faculty members, giving interested students a direct pathway into the DDI community. The event also promoted a MacBook upgrade benefit for accepted applicants, subject to university conditions, adding further excitement for attendees considering their next academic step.

The Bachelor of Business Administration in Design and Digital Innovation is designed to develop entrepreneurs for the digital era who are equipped to build successful businesses and drive innovation in the future. The program emphasizes learning from successful global business owners and uses a Block Teaching model, allowing students to gain intensive knowledge in each subject and engage more deeply with the learning process.

DDI Open House 2026 stood out as a lively and meaningful success, reflecting AU’s commitment to preparing students for a fast-changing world through innovation, entrepreneurial thinking, and practical experience. For many attendees, the event offered not just a closer look at a degree program, but a glimpse of the future they could begin building today.
