Assumption University of Thailand (AU) successfully hosted the DDI Open House 2025 on October 4, 2025 at its Suvarnabhumi Campus, presenting prospective students with a dynamic look into the Bachelor of Business Administration in Design and Digital Innovation (B.B.A. DDI) program offered by the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME).

The event opened with a welcome speech by the dynamic Dr. Chainarong Rungruengarnporn, Dean of MSME Business School, who highlighted the vision of a modern business education built on “learning through real action”. He stressed that AU’s distinctive teaching approach equips students with both academic knowledge and practical skills essential for thriving in the digital economy.

Dr. Natamon Phumpradab, Chairperson of the Department of Design and Digital Innovation, presented an overview of the program, emphasizing its mission to create entrepreneurs for the digital era. With its Block Teaching model, students engage intensively with each subject, ensuring deeper learning compared to traditional methods.

A highlight of the day was an interactive session with DDI alumni and faculty, where graduates shared their success stories of launching startups and securing funding. These testimonies underscored the program’s strength in blending theory with hands-on practice.

The Sandbox Model of the program was also showcased—an innovative approach that allows students to learn directly from mentors and business experts from leading companies. Through case studies, group discussions, workshops, and project simulations, students gain invaluable experience. Notably, the program provides funding opportunities from AU to help students launch their own businesses.

The event concluded with on-the-spot applications and interviews, where successful applicants received a complimentary MacBook 512GB upgrade (subject to university conditions), followed by a campus tour of AU’s modern facilities.

The DDI program is more than a degree—it is a playground for future entrepreneurs, nurturing ambition, encouraging experimentation, and preparing graduates to lead in the digital age. By giving students the chance to “learn to fall before they face the world,” AU continues its mission of shaping the innovators and business leaders of tomorrow.
