WRITER : BERNADETTE DE LOURDES SCHOOL OF NURSING SCIENCE
The Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) proudly welcomed six nursing students from the University of Stavanger (UiS), Norway, for an international internship program running from September to November 2025.
Led by Asst. Professor Dr. Onouma Thummapol, Dean of the Bernadette de Lourdes School of Nursing Science, this collaboration provides the UiS students with invaluable exposure to the Thai healthcare system, nursing education practices, and Thailand’s rich cultural heritage.
UiS, one of Norway’s leading universities, is internationally recognized for its strengths in health sciences, research, and innovation. This meaningful exchange was made possible through the coordination of Dr. Varunaj Churnai, Study Exchange Coordinator of the Norwegian Mission Society (NMS) – Thailand, whose efforts have helped deepen ties between institutions and cultures.
This collaboration underscores AU’s commitment to international education and global engagement, ensuring students benefit from cross-cultural learning opportunities.
