Bridging Classrooms Across Continents: AU Strengthens Ties in Kochi

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) took another meaningful step in advancing its academic partnerships in India with official visits to Rajagiri College of Social Sciences and Rajagiri Business School on October 8-10, 2025.

The AU delegation led by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU, along with Dr. Chainarong Rungruengarporn, Dean of the Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME), and Dr. Bhumiphat Gilitwala, Program Director of MBA & Smart MBA, met with the Principal, Deans, Directors, and senior administrators; toured the vibrant campus; engaged with faculty; and sealed the visit with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing to solidify collaboration.

A Shared Vision for Global Learning

Discussions centered on initiatives with real-world impact:

    • Faculty and student mobility
    • Internships and exchange programs
    • Summer courses and academic articulation
    • Joint research projects and industry linkages

Both institutions agreed to develop a sequenced action plan designed to pilot impactful programs and scale successful models—strengthening cross-border academic pathways between Thailand and India.
