WRITER: THE AU LIBRARY
The Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, Assumption University of Thailand (AU), hosted a flavorful workshop on “Coffee Cupping Test” as part of the Advanced Food Processing Innovation and Technology (FT4157) course. The event was held on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Hua Mak Campus.


The session was led by Mr. Nateepat Pitinidhipat, a pround alumnus and co-Founder of Van Hart Coffee, who shared his expertise on coffee tasting, evaluation methods, and the art of identifying subtle differences in aroma, flavor, and body. Students gained hands-on experience in professional coffee evaluation, learning the global standards of cupping that are used across the coffee industry.


Workshops like this highlight the School of Biotechnology’s commitment to innovation and applied learning, giving students practical exposure that connects food science with real-world business applications.
The event brewed not only knowledge but also inspiration, preparing AU students to innovate in the world of food and beverage technology.
