The future of the creative industry looks brighter than ever as the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts at Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed its Class of 2024 to the CA Graduation Orientation 2025. This milestone event served as both a celebration and a roadmap for soon-to-be graduates, equipping them with insights and inspiration as they prepare for the next chapter of their careers.
The orientation kicked off with an empowering address by Dr. Marissa Chantamas, Dean of Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, setting the stage for an eventful day of learning and networking.
Adding a global perspective to the mix, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thananporn Sethjinda, Director of the Office of International Affairs, delivered an insightful session on “Your Gateway to Study Abroad Opportunities” Students explored pathways to international exchange programs, further studies, and career-building experiences beyond Thailand’s borders.




Award-Winning Alumna Inspires Graduates
The highlight of the event was an inspiring talk by Miss Manatsadabhorn Pongchinnartham, Founder and Managing Director of Okay-D, titled “From Passion to Profession: Navigating the Creative Industry” As a proud alumna of the Visual Communication Design program at AU and a Master’s graduate in Filmmaking from the New York Film Academy, her journey from student to successful entrepreneur captivated the audience.
Her achievements speak for themselves—she was recently recognized at the Oniros Film Awards as the Best First-Time Director (Feature Film) for Achilles’ Curse and the Cursed Treasure. This prestigious international award highlights her talent, creativity, and dedication to storytelling. Sharing her personal experiences, she encouraged graduates to embrace their passion, refine their skills, and remain resilient in their creative pursuits.
