Assumption University of Thailand (AU), in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, and the Thai Future Food Trade Association, held a certificate awarding ceremony on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at the Hua Mak Campus.




The program, titled “Enhancing Entrepreneurs’ Capacity towards International Food Safety Standards through Digital Innovation in Food Industry Production and Biotechnology”, was designed to equip participants with advanced skills and knowledge in food safety, biotechnology, and digital innovation.
The event began with a keynote session on “Thai Future Food Trends” delivered by Dr. Visit Limlurcha, President of the Thai Future Food Trade Association and Vice Chairman of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. His presentation provided valuable insights into global food trends and Thailand’s pathway to strengthening its competitiveness in the future food sector.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates by Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU, reaffirming AU’s commitment to academic-industry collaboration and supporting Thailand’s food industry in meeting international standards.


Organized by the Theophane Venard School of Biotechnology, this initiative demonstrates AU’s mission to promote innovation, sustainable practices, and entrepreneurial excellence in alignment with Thailand’s vision for the future of food and biotechnology.
