Assumption University of Thailand (AU) conducted the AUN-QA Assessor Training on May 28, 2025, from 09.00 to 16.00 hrs. at the Seminar Room, De Montfort Hall, Hua Mak Campus. This full-day training session was designed to build internal capacity in line with the ASEAN University Network – Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) framework, one of the region’s leading models for academic quality enhancement.
Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kittisak Yokthongwattana, the training focused on assessor calibration and effective evaluation of Self-Assessment Reports (SARs). Participants engaged in hands-on workshops and gained insights into internal quality assurance processes at the program level.



The session began with welcome remarks by Asst. Prof. Dr. Uree Cheasakul, Vice President for Academic Affairs, who emphasized the importance of academic rigor, continuous improvement, and alignment with regional standards.
Morning sessions covered internal quality assurance using the AUN-QA framework, while the afternoon was dedicated to a practical workshop on SAR assessment. Participants also benefitted from interactive discussions and collaborative exercises.
