Assumption University of Thailand (AU), through its Louis Nobiron School of Music, proudly hosted the “Music Boost Camp” from July 30 to August 3, 2025, at the Suvarnabhumi Campus. This dynamic five-day, four-night program was held in collaboration with the Office of Knowledge Management and Development (OKMD), Thai Audio-Visual and Music Content Association (THAACA), and the Subcommittee for Driving the Music Industry under the Prime Minister’s Office, as part of the national Talent Everywhere initiative.

Under the umbrella of the One Family One Soft Power (OFOS) policy and Thailand’s broader National Soft Power Development Strategy, the Music Boost Camp is designed to discover and nurture musical talent from all corners of the country. The project is supported by the National Soft Power Strategy Committee, which aims to build pathways for youth to enter the professional music industry.

AU’s camp welcomed young musicians representing emerging music groups from across Thailand. Participants immersed themselves in workshops, music theory classes, performance coaching, and music industry sessions—led by AU School of Music faculty, student mentors, and industry veterans.
Celebrity Mentors & National Impact
The camp featured mentorship and surprise appearances by celebrated Thai artists including Yes’Sir Days, Jetset’er, and Pause, alongside top music influencers and executives. A special highlight was the participation of Mr. Wichian “Nick” Rerkpaisan, a key member of the National Soft Power Strategy Committee for Music, who shared visionary insights on the evolving Thai music ecosystem.

Nationwide Reach
This camp at AU is one of 10 regional camps taking place in Chonburi, Yala, Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Phitsanulok, Nonthaburi, Khon Kaen, Samut Prakan, Songkhla, and Chiang Mai. These lead up to the Talent Showcase, a national event spotlighting Thailand’s top 50 most promising young musicians.
AU’s Role in Creative Empowerment
With guidance from the School of Music’s dedicated faculty and student mentors, participants experienced a warm and inspiring community that nurtured their growth both artistically and personally.
AU is honored to support Thailand’s creative industries by playing a key role in this transformative initiative. Through music, mentorship, and national collaboration, AU continues to empower the next generation of artists and strengthen Thailand’s position on the global creative map.
