AU Academic Senate Unites Leaders to Drive Excellence and Innovation

On October 28, 2025, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) convened the Academic Senate Meeting 2/2025 at Coronation Hall, Hua Mak Campus. The full-day session brought together the AU Executive Board, deans, administrators, and academic leaders to review academic developments, strengthen institutional strategies, and ensure continuous improvement in teaching and learning.

The morning session featured a dialogue with the AU Executive Board, highlighting key university initiatives and aligning leadership with the strategic direction of academic programs.

The afternoon session focused on academic quality assurance, curriculum management, and performance reporting. Key topics included follow-ups on curriculum management reports, progress on ASAP performance results, and updates on Credit Bank System initiatives. Each school also delivered a five-minute presentation outlining performance highlights for Semester 1/2025 and management plans for Semester 2/2025. These presentations showcased active collaborations, including MoU activities, program improvements, and innovative approaches to enhance student learning experiences.

The meeting concluded with discussions on upcoming academic adjustments, including the transition from Grade F to Grade R and the announcement of new MHESI guidelines on AI in education. These policy updates underline AU’s readiness to adapt to emerging trends and maintain academic standards aligned with national and international frameworks.

Through regular Academic Senate meetings, AU continues to foster a strong academic community, driven by shared vision, collaborative leadership, and a commitment to academic excellence.
