Assumption University of Thailand (AU) marked a shining milestone on November 19, 2025, as the 15th Albert Prize: Student Excellence Award ceremony brought together students, faculty, and honored guests for an evening dedicated to achievement, inspiration, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.
Held at the John XXIII Conference Center, Suvarnabhumi Campus, the celebration reflected the university’s longstanding commitment to recognizing outstanding student contributions in academics, leadership, culture, service, sports, and innovation. Named in honor of Rev. Bro. Bancha Saenghiran, f.s.g., Ph.D., Rector Magnificus of AU, the Albert Prize embodies his Christian name “Albert” and reflects his lifelong mission to inspire excellence in every dimension of student life.
The evening opened with a warm reception, followed by an award ceremony that highlighted the diverse strengths of AU’s vibrant student community. From groundbreaking student projects to cultural showcases, leadership awards, and national-level sporting achievements, each recognition reaffirmed the power of student initiative and the impact of learning beyond the classroom.
Rev. Bro. Bancha delivered a heartfelt congratulatory message, commending students for their dedication and for enriching the AU community through their efforts, service, and creativity. His words underscored the purpose of the Albert Prize: to inspire every student to grow, explore, and lead with integrity.
