Message from the President

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff of Assumption University,

As we embark on this exciting journey, I am filled with hope and optimism for the future of our University. Since its inception in 1969, Assumption University has been a beacon of education, guiding and nurturing the minds of individuals from Thailand as well as nations around the world. Our commitment to providing quality education remains unwavering, and we continue to embrace the three E’s that set us apart; we recognize English as our official medium of instruction, we value Ethics and moral development, and we embrace an Entrepreneurial spirit that is inspired by creativity and innovation.

Under the guidance of the Montfort Brothers of St. Gabriel, a global Catholic Religious Order with a profound passion for education and philanthropy, Assumption University has flourished. Together, we have established a network of 17 educational institutions throughout Thailand, ensuring access to knowledge and opportunities for countless individuals.

I am proud to share that our university has evolved into a vibrant community, with a student body of approximately 8,000 individuals. Among our diverse student population, we are privileged to welcome students from 54 countries, enriching our classrooms with a tapestry of cultures, perspectives, and experiences. It is through these interactions that our students gain a deeper understanding of the world and are prepared to embrace the pragmatic aspects of life.

Our esteemed faculty members, who are distinguished scholars and professionals from a wide array of academic disciplines, business fields, and government sectors, contribute greatly to the transformative education we offer. Their expertise and dedication empower our students to excel in their chosen fields and make meaningful contributions to society.

Looking ahead, I am filled with hope for what the future holds. Assumption University will continue to foster a dynamic learning environment, promoting scholastic exchange and research programs through our formal links and cooperation agreements with international institutions of higher learning. These collaborations provide our students with invaluable opportunities to broaden their horizons, deepen their knowledge, and become global citizens ready to tackle the challenges of the 21^st century.
