Assumption University of Thailand (AU) was delighted to welcome executives from the University of the Sacred Heart, Japan on March 18, 2025. Organized by the Theodore Maria School of Arts and the Office of International Affairs (OIA), the visit was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen ties between our institutions and explore future collaborations.
The morning started with a warm greeting at Sala Thai, followed by a visit to the Office of International Affairs at the CL Building. From there, the delegation headed to the Department of Japanese for International Business, where they met with faculty and students. It was a lively exchange, with discussions about language learning, cultural programs, and ways to bring our students closer together.

A special welcome followed at St. Gabriel’s Hall, where Dr. Chayada Thanavisuth, Dean of the Theodore Maria School of Arts, and Dr. Chutamas Sundrarajun the Associate Dean greeted the delegation. This session provided a wonderful chance to exchange ideas and discuss potential academic partnerships, especially in Japanese studies and international programs.

After a tour of AU’s beautiful campus, the visit officially wrapped up, but the conversations continued over a friendly lunch.
AU has great admiration for the University of the Sacred Heart, a school known for its strong academic values and dedication to developing globally minded students. We’re excited about the possibilities ahead and look forward to building even closer ties in the future!
