A Day with Massey University: Exploring AU’s Campus and Building First Connections

Assumption University of Thailand (AU) welcomed Ms. Iya Diza, Regional Manager for Southeast Asia at Massey University, New Zealand, to its Suvarnabhumi Campus on September 4, 2025. Ranked #239 in the QS World University Rankings 2025, Massey operates three campuses in Auckland, Wellington, and Palmerston North. Its Finance program is especially renowned, featuring New Zealand’s first university trading room with Bloomberg terminals and ranked #1 nationally by Shanghai Ranking.

The visit began at Sala Thai and continued with a campus tour led by AU representatives. Key stops included the Cathedral of Learning Library, St. Louis Marie de Montfort Chapel, the Residence Halls, and the John Paul II Sports Center. Together, these landmarks highlighted AU’s academic strengths, cultural heritage, and the supportive facilities that shape student life, giving Ms. Iya a vivid impression of the university’s unique learning environment.
