Assumption University holds a steadfast commitment to social responsibility and the fostering of a harmonious environment for our neighboring communities. In response to concerns regarding noise and exhaust emissions at the Hua Mak Campus parking area, we are taking proactive steps to ensure our operations remain sustainable and respectful of our neighbors.
To minimize our environmental footprint and the impact on residents, the Transportation Department is implementing the following vehicle operational adjustments:
Morning Sessions: Vehicle engines are to be started no more than 5 minutes prior to departure to prevent noise disturbance during the community’s rest hours.
Late Morning Sessions: A “Just-in-Time” pick-up system will be strictly observed. Coaches will arrive at the terminal exactly at the scheduled departure time to eliminate unnecessary idling.
