Assumption University of Thailand (AU) strengthened its international academic network as a high-level delegation, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanintorn Jittawiriyanukoon, Vice President for Research and Academic Services, participated in the 2025 World Chinese Language Conference in Beijing from November 14 to 16, 2025.
The AU representatives joined distinguished delegates from around the world, including Professor Wang Min, Vice President of Tianjin University of Science and Technology (TUST), as well as delegations from Assumption College Thonburi (Thailand) and the UI Ttsai School of Mongolia. The conference served as a platform for cross-border dialogue, collaborative exchange, and the strengthening of global educational partnerships.
Themed “Innovation-Driven, Digital Empowerment, Bringing Chinese Language Learning Closer” the conference explored forward-looking trends in global Chinese language education. The AU delegation took part in plenary sessions and thematic discussions on curriculum development, international teacher training, institutional cooperation, and the integration of emerging educational technologies into teaching and assessment systems.
Participants were introduced to a suite of groundbreaking digital-intelligence tools that are shaping the future of Chinese language education worldwide. Among the innovations showcased were the International Chinese Language Education Knowledge Graph, the International Chinese Language Education Corpus, the adaptive HSK certification system HSK GO, the AI Cloud Teaching and Research Platform, and the Smart Chinese Classroom. These platforms highlight the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital ecosystems in language teaching and global educational exchange.
Throughout the three-day program, the AU delegation engaged with global experts, exchanged best practices, and explored new avenues for collaboration. Their participation enhanced AU’s international visibility in the field of Chinese language education and laid a strong foundation for future academic partnerships.
Hosted by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, the Fifth World Chinese Language Conference continues to be one of the most influential global platforms dedicated to the advancement of Chinese language education and intercultural understanding.
