A Warm Welcome to AU’s New Colleagues
Assumption University of Thailand (AU) hosted its staff orientation for the Academic Year 2025 at Hua Mak Campus on 12 November 2025. The half-day program was designed to help newly appointed personnel integrate smoothly into AU’s academic and administrative culture while reinforcing the university’s values of excellence, service, and faith.
Insights and Inspiration from AU Leadership
The opening session, “Guidelines for Organizational Practice” emphasized AU’s mission-driven approach and encouraged new staff to serve with commitment and compassion by Ms. Chongtip Nawikanjana, Vice President for Administrative Affairs.
Following this, a presentation about “Etiquette and Professional Conduct” reminded attendees of the importance of grace, respect, and cultural understanding in daily university life by Ms. Watinee Janarge, Director, Office of Thai Art and Culture, Student Affairs.
After a short break, a presentation regarding “Personnel Policies and Benefits” offering a comprehensive overview of AU’s HR systems, welfare programs, and development opportunities by Mr. Thitapat Watchalapong, Director, Office of Human Resources Management.
A Future of Collaboration and Service
The event concluded with closing remarks and expressions of gratitude, reinforcing the university’s spirit of unity and dedication. Through this orientation, new members of the AU community begin their journey with a clear sense of belonging and shared purpose, ready to contribute to AU’s mission of education in truth and service.
