The Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA)
The Association of Christian Universities and Colleges in Asia (ACUCA) is a community of Christian institutions of higher learning in Asia. It has a comprehensive mandate of bringing about a veritable community of Christian institutions in the region by working closely together to benefit each other as the societies in which they exist. The ACUCA Secretariat has been designed to be instrumental in creating the environmental prerequisites for active interaction and participation among the member institutions to take place. In realizing this goal, there must be a continuing response to the changing conditions of Asian societies, a constant awareness of educational development in the region, and a resolute will to actualize the Christian witness even in academic pursuits.
The Association of Southeast Asian Institution of Higher Learning (ASAIHL)
The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) was founded in 1956 as a non-governmental organization at a meeting in Bangkok of the heads of eight state universities in Southeast Asia. Field Marshal Pibulsongkram, the Prime Minister, supported its foundation and approved setting up the Secretariat in Thailand. His government began by giving financial and material support, which continued for several years until the Association had other sources of funds.
The International Federation of Catholic Universities (IFCU)
The federation has its origins in collaboration in 1924 between the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan and the Catholic university of Nijmegen in the Netherlands. It was created by a Papal Decree in 1948 as the Fœderatio Universitatum Catholicarum it became the International Federation of Catholic Universities in 1965.[1] The FIUC facilitates, research, partnership and exchange programmes between catholic institutes of education.[2] In 2023, it had 226 members universities in the world.

The Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU)
The Association of Southeast and East Asian Catholic Colleges and Universities (ASEACCU) is a regional association of Catholic Universities in countries within this geographical area. The purpose of the organization is to promote Catholic higher education and to be a support for the local Churches. ASEACCU also aims to contribute to educational dialog on an international level beyond the Southeast and East Asian region.

The ASEAN Universities Network (AUN)
The ASEAN University Network (AUN) is an arrangement between 30 universities in the ten ASEAN countries. The AUN is composed of a Board of Trustees (BOT), the participating universities, and the AUN Secretariat. The Board of Trustees consists of one representative from each of the ASEAN Member Countries, the Secretary-General of ASEAN, the Chairman of the ASEAN subcommittee on Education (ASCOE) and the executive director of the AUN. The BOT has the task of formulating policies, approving project proposals, the allocation of budgets and co-ordinating implementation activities. The board makes decisions on these activities on the basis of consensus.
University Mobility in the Asia Pacific (UMAP)
University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific (UMAP) is a voluntary regional association of government, non-government and/or university representatives of the higher education sector established in 1993 to enhance cooperation and exchange of people and expertise through increased mobility of higher education students and staff. UMAP has been endorsed by Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation and member countries are implementing UMAP projects.
The Association of Presidents of Thai Higher Education Institutions of Thailand (APHEIT)
Association of Private Higher Education Institutions of Thailand (APHEIT, Thai: สมาคมสถาบันอุดมศึกษาเอกชนแห่งประเทศไทย) established in 1979, is a non-profit association founded by a group of private higher education institutions in Thailand to establish and promote cooperation among private higher education institutions in the country. APHEIT is recognized by Ministry of Education (Thailand) as one of the organizations that plays an important role in Thailand’s university administration.
The Catholic Education Council of Thailand (CECT)
Strengthening the process for implementing the philosophy and spirit of Catholic education in educational institutions, in education and training, in learning processes, and within the organization itself, acting as representatives of the Church in training young people or collaborators in social development, and as part of the life of the local Church. This includes conducting various activities in conferences, research and development, sharing knowledge, skills, and documentary experiences, and various studies, in coordination, mutual support, and brotherly assistance.
