The English for ALL – English Communication Skills Workshop for first-year students successfully concluded in Semester 1/2025 with enthusiastic participation from 173 freshmen.
The program featured five focused workshops designed to strengthen essential English communication skills:
-
- Basic Conversation
- English Pronunciation
- Career Planning
- Public Speaking
- News Reading Experience

The final session, held on September 5, 2025, took place in a professional studio setting. Students practiced news reading, observed broadcasting and production processes, and explored video editing techniques. This immersive, hands-on experience not only enhanced technical awareness but also built confidence in applying English in real-life contexts.
Organized by the Center for Career Development and Counseling, Student Affairs, Assumption University of Thailand (AU) at Suvarnabhumi Campus. the program was offered free of charge. A unique highlight was the return of senior students as peer mentors, sharing their experiences and supporting new participants in their language journey.
Now in its 17th consecutive year, the initiative reflected AU’s sustained commitment to empowering students with confidence, communication skills, and career readiness.
In today’s fast-moving world, English is more than just a subject—it is a life skill. From making international friends and preparing for future careers to enjoying global media without subtitles, practicing English daily opens countless doors.
