Bright minds from Assumption University of Thailand (AU) ’s Graduate School of Human Sciences took center stage at the CU-KU International Symposium in Education 2025, held July 8 at Chulalongkorn University. With the timely theme Inclusive Society: Innovating for an Inclusive and Equitable Future the event welcomed voices from across the region to explore how education can bridge divides and build stronger communities.

AU’s delegation—students from the English for Academic and Professional Purposes (EAL), Curriculum and Instruction (CI), and English Language Teaching (ELT) programs—joined fellow educators and scholars for a day of idea-sharing and fresh perspectives.

Invited by Associate Professor Dr. Yotsawee Saifah, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Chulalongkorn University, the students were accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Poonpilas Asavisanu, Program Director of the M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and Dr. Nathara Mhunpiew, who encouraged students to dive into every discussion.
“Being part of this symposium wasn’t just eye-opening—it was a real chance to connect theory to action,” shared one participant.

Whether exchanging views on inclusive policy or learning from international peers, AU’s future educators made the most of every moment.
