AU Rector Presented with HRH the Princess’ Honorable Pin in Recognition of his Contributions to St. Gabriel’s College’s Progress & Development
During his participation in the St. Gabriel’s College’s Centenary Celebrations together with a number of AU Administrators, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, AU President-Rector Magnificus, and other distinguished participants were presented with HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s honorable pins.
The college’s auspicious centenary celebration was graciously presided over by HRH the Princess on September 17, 2020 during which she also viewed the college’s celebrative exhibitions showcasing its long-year historical activities & events. Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha’s highly valuable contributions to the college’s significant success, development and achievements have been remarkably evident and memorable. His involvement with the college started at his young age, since his Grade 11–12 education at the college during 1961–1962. Since then, his continual and staunch support for the College included the following noteworthy duties during his tenure; performing various positions:
1985-1990: Principal of St. Gabriel’s College
1986: Instructor, teaching computer science to the college’s secondary students in addition to his installment of the computer sets to facilitate the college’s administrative and financial works. Moreover, during this period, he managed to erect the Hubert Memorial Building to accommodate the car park, swimming pool and the Alumni Association of the St. Gabriel’s College.
2003: Board of Director of St. Gabriel’s College.
2010: The Alumni Association of St. Gabriel’s College presented the honorable plaque to Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha in recognition of his being the college alumni (with I.D. 9445) who have brought fame and honor to the college. His name was as well inscribed in the College’s Hall of Fame.
