What is IELE?:
The Department of English and Center for English Language Development (CELD) have merged in March 2009. And we are now called Institute for English Language Education (IELE).
We are now working as ONE and are offering Basic English I, II, English I - IV, Free English Tutorial Courses, Conversation Exit Course, and FEOT.
- Intensive English Program
Intensive English Program is a preparatory course for incoming freshmen students. The course aims at extending the students’ knowledge of vocabulary, revising basic structures of English, and reinforcing all the four language skills. Creative reading and writing will be introduced through communicative activities. - Basic English I/II
Upper Elementary academic English, with activities to foster reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in English through communicative activities in a meaningful academic context. - English I
Lower intermediate academic English, with activities to foster reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English through communicative activities in a meaningful academic context. - English II
Intermediate academic English, reinforcing fluency and grammar with task-driven oral and writing exercises, developing vocabulary and sentence writing skills with combined reading comprehension exercises and writing practice. - English III
Advanced English for academic and career purposes, emphasizing organization of ideas and clarity of expression and understanding. - English IV
Advanced English for academic and career purposes, emphasizing critical and analytical skills and formulating logical and coherent opinions.
