Countless high school students nationwide was warmly received and amiably welcomed during the AU Open House 2019 themed “Houses of Brothers” on November 15, 2019 at Suvarnabhumi Campus. Organized by the Office of the University Registrar in cooperation with many other AU faculties, the main welcoming activities took place at the common court area between the Montfort del Rosario school of Architecture and Design and the Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts buildings where young visiting students were joyfully entertained with numerous games and recreational activities familiarizing them with the AU educational opportunities and quality teaching & learning systems for their potentially future enrollments. The main activities impressively organized by a variety of AU Schools at different venues included:
Poem Competition by Theodore Maria School of Arts,
Karate Workshop by Business Japanese Department,
Chinese Speech Contest by Business Chinese Department,
Dramas & Stage Plays performed by Albert Laurence School of Arts,
Singing Contest, actively participated by visiting students, organized by School of Music and
Exhibitions showcasing AU students’ architectural and designed works put up by the Montfort del Rosario School of Architecture and Design.
Eventually, on top these eye-opening experiences, the whole group of visiting students was also given an extensive campus tour; viewing various faculty & school buildings and all the existing AU’s state-of the-arts facilities.
