Graduating students from the Department of Advertising, Albert Laurence School of Communication Arts, Assumption University exhibited their Advertising Workshop Showcase at The Campus Room, Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel from 11.30 – 16.30 on Friday, 13th May 2016, where the 15 groups of students (total of 157 students) presented their works about marketing communication before judges, who are the Chief Executive Officers, Marketing Directors and Brand Directors of clients; Greenday, Jele Beautie, Jolly Bears and Miyazaki. The objective is for students to apply knowledge about strategic marketing communication and advertising in real-life situations. This presentation was a simulation of what is called in the advertising industry, “Pitching” or the presentation to the clients. Not only the clients, but the representatives from well-known advertising agencies joined  The event, who are honored commentators for the graduating students.

This year event was presented under the concept of “Adtastic 4” which is derived from the combination of advertising department’s DNA and the 4 heroes. The 4 heroes represent the heroes of each stage of life of the 4 brands. When they collide with the DNA of the department, which are Creativity, Strategic Thinking and Entrepreneurship, the heroes are able to possess greater power.
