Assumption University of Thailand (AU)’s Institute for Research and Academic Services (IRAS) has successfully concluded an insightful research training seminar titled Classroom Research: Enhancing Teaching, Learning, and Research Articles Production. The event took place virtually via Microsoft Teams on April 30, 2024, and drew widespread participation from the university’s faculty, students, and the broader academic community.

Led by the distinguished Asst. Prof. Dr. Denchai Prabjandee from Burapha University, the seminar offered an in-depth exploration of Classroom Action Research (CAR). Participants were provided with practical knowledge about CAR, including its purposes, definitions, and methodologies. Dr. Prabjandee skillfully guided attendees through the process of executing CAR projects, from the initial formulation of research questions to the final stages of data analysis and intervention.

A significant highlight was the session on converting CAR projects into research articles suitable for publication. The practical strategies presented by Dr. Denchai emphasized the importance of disseminating classroom research findings to the broader academic audience, thus contributing to the enhancement of educational practices.

AU is proud to have hosted such an enriching event that not only reinforces its commitment to academic excellence but also strengthens its role as a hub for educational innovation and research. The university looks forward to fostering a continuous dialogue on the significance of classroom research and its impact on teaching and learning.
