On May 1, the Assumption University community celebrated the 80th birthday of Rev. Bro. Dr. AmnuayYoonprayong, Vice Rector for Moral Development Education and University Campus Minister. The occasion was marked with a gathering in Brother Amnuay’s office, where students, faculty, and staff came together to honor his impactful service and unwavering commitment to the university.

Just two days later, on May 3, the AU community will observe the Feast Day of Saint Philip, Brother Amnuay’s patron saint. These back-to-back celebrations highlight the significance of Brother Amnuay's lifetime of dedication and the enduring inspiration of Saint Philip’s example.

 
 
 

Reflecting on this special time, Rev. Bro. Dr. Amnuay shared, "It's a blessing to celebrate my 80th birthday and the Feast Day of my patron, Saint Philip, so close together. Saint Philip inspires us to dedicate ourselves to living lives of service, kindness, and spiritual growth. I'm deeply grateful to the AU community for sharing in this celebration and for their support throughout the years."

The gathering at Brother Amnuay's office brought the AU community together in a spirit of unity and joy, reflecting on the legacy of a man who has dedicated his life to spiritual guidance, education, and the moral development of others.
